Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Demi Lovato Perform “Tell Me You Love Me” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show
American singer-songwriter Demi Lovato appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she performed "Tell Me You Love Me".
The song was released last November from her sixth studio album of the same name. It was written by Kirby Lauryen, Stint and John Hill.
About the song, "At the time I was going through a breakup. It's about the vulnerability of coming out of a very serious relationship and having a tough time with it. It also at the same time calls out a big misconception with the line, 'You ain't nobody 'til you got somebody,' which again comes from that vulnerability with mixed emotions," she said.
The music video forthe song directed by Mark Pellington, who also directed Lovato's "Skyscraper". The video co-starred Grey's Anatomy actor Jesse Williams. In the video, she wore a wedding dress that everybody talked about.
In an interview with Ellen, she played a game “Who Would Rather?”, where Rihanna prevailed as winner.
