Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ G-Eazy Premieres New Song “Him & I” Featuring Halsey
American rapper Gerald Earl Gillum, aka G-Eazy teamed up with American singer-songwriter Halsey on a new song "Him & I". The song is taken from his upcoming third studio album "The Beautiful & Damned", which is set to be released on December 15, 2017.
It was written by Gerald Gillum, Alexander Schwartz, Joe Khajadourian and Ashley Frangipane. The track is the second single following "No Limit" featuring ASAP Rocky and Cardi B.
The new album contains 14-track, featuring guest appearances from Halsey, Cardi B, ASAP Rocky, Kehlani, E-40, Charlie Puth and Anna of the North, among others.
G-Eazy said about the song;
“I’ve wanted to work with Halsey for a long time. I think she’s an incredibly talented artist who has accomplished so much at such a young age. She’s one of the biggest artists in the whole world. At 22 years old, that’s pretty phenomenal. ‘Him & I’ is a Bonnie and Clyde song. It’s a pretty intense, crazy in love song. She killed the record. She sounds phenomenal on it. I’m excited to share that experience onstage with her live one on one because she’s a great performer."-

"It clicked. I don’t know. I was hella happy and I think that’s everything. Not to be super corny and sentimental, but deadass, I was just hella happy and we clicked really well. As artists, it’s tough to fully understand the world we live in…So, being able to relate and talk like that just as friends too…That feeling inspires you creatively.”
