Boston-based pop duo The Keymakers has released debut song "Good For You" via digital music services. The sound blends old and new-school R&B with electronic music.
The Keymakers was formed by brothers Rome Alexander and Rederic in Pittsburgh, then the duo moved to Boston in 2016.
Rome Alexander started his musical journey as a singer-songwriter in 2010. Rederic started his work in music in high school with electronic music production and released his first remix in 2011 and first original production in 2014.
About the debut song, Rederic Alexander said;
"We've got so much music in our heads that we want to get out to the masses. We've honed a unique sound, and we'll be experimenting with a bunch of different styles and genres that I think will surprise a lot of people."
Rome Alexander added;
"We all mess up sometimes, and neglect the people we care about. No one's perfect. But this song is about owning those mistakes, the constant effort to be better, and the person that makes that process worth it."- source : Vents Magazine
