London-based singer-songwriter Lianne La Havas has delivered a new music video for "Tokyo" directed by Ravi Dhar.
The song is included on her Grammy-nominated sophomore album "Blood", which was released in 2015. The track was written by Lianne La Havas and Matt Hales.
The video is inspired from 2003's film "Lost in Translation" directed by Sofia Coppola, starring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. The video was shot in Tokyo, Japan.
She is currently working on her third album, but before releasing the new album, she dropped this video.
About the song, she said;
“The song ‘Tokyo’ is about the loneliness you feel when you’re going from place to place. Tokyo seemed like the best place to discuss that: It’s such a bustling city, but you can feel so alone there. The movie Lost in Translation is about that – it was in our minds when we were writing.”-
