Kylie Minogue Teams Up with Years & Years for New Song “A Second to Midnight”
- Australian singer-songwriter Kylie Minogue announced the deluxe edition of the 2020 album “Disco” called “Disco: Guest List Edition” would be released on November 12, 2021.
The album comprises of 26-track, featuring collaborations with Jessie Ware, Years and Years, Dua Lipa and even disco legend Gloria Gaynor.
Also, the album features in a variety of formats, including 2CD, triple vinyl and a boxset with a DVD/Blu-ray of her Infinite Disco show.
From the new album, she dropped a new song “A Second to Midnight” along with a music video.
It was written by Minogue, Richard Stannard, Duck Blackwell, Olly Alexander and Martin Sjølie. Produced by Richard Stannard and Duck Blackwell.
She teamed up with British singer-songwriter Olly Alexander, aka Years & Years on the track.
Kylie Minogue said, “Olly Alexander was so sweet and gorgeous. We shot the video a couple of weeks ago, which was super fun and I just can’t wait for people to hear this.”
- Also, Kylie Minogue will be moving from the UK to Australia. She is moving back to the country of her birth after 30 years of living in the UK.
She told BBC Radio 2’s The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show. “I have spent a lot of time with my family this year in Australia and it felt really good and I have been talking about that for a while. Don’t worry, I will not be a stranger.”
She does not think “too much will change” after her move as she will regularly return. “I’m not really going. I’ve lived here for 30 years, I’m always going to be back.'”
