Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ PHNTMS Returns With New Song “Paper Flowers”
Philadelphia and Los Angeles based alt-rock band PHNTMS, consisting of Alyssa Gambino (vocals), Adam Jessamine (guitar/bass) and Mikal Smith (guitar), returned with a new song “Paper Flowers” along with a music video.
The song is their first single since “Back Burner”, which was released last March.
It was written by Alyssa Rae Gambino, Adam Wayne Jessamine, Mikal Omir Smith, Ryder Stuart and Jackson Hoffman. Produced by Ryder Stuart and Courtney Ballard.
The video was directed by Adam Jessamine.
Even though American rock band, the sound is melodic pop rock like reminiscent of British alt-pop music scene.
To date, the band has seen success having performed opening spots for such acts as Kings of Leon, The 1975, Bastille, Fitz & The Tantrums, Empire of the Sun, Pale Waves, Emarosa, and Half Noise.
Inspired by everyday situations, relationships, and growing up, the band aims to create a feeling with which listeners can easily identify.
Alyssa Gambino explained, “I think as songwriters, we try to capture these moments and make them as detailed as possible. We’ll always be fascinated by the fact we can freeze these moments...”- source : Apple Music
