New York-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Mark Ambor unveiled a new song “The Long Way” along with q lyric video on September 14, 2021.
The song is his first single in almost a year, following “It's Us Again”.
It was written by Mark Ambor and Jesse Fink. Produced by Mark Ambor, Brandon Shoop and Jesse Fink. The video was directed by Michael Bloom.
Mark Ambor said of the song, “Many of us have that person in our lives that no matter how much time has passed, every time you see them and every time you talk to them, it feels like nothing has changed. I found myself in that place of wanting more than just a friendship with that person, but knowing, for a few reasons, that for the time being we were better off as friends. ‘The Long Way’ is about that underlying feeling that things will work out one day with that person.”
He debuted with “Fever” in 2019. Since then, he has blown up online, and has got over 237k people following him on Instagram and nearly just as many on TikTok.- source : Spotify
