Canadian rapper Drake released his sixth studio album “Certified Lover Boy” along with a new music video for ”Way 2 Sex” on September 3. 2021 via OVO Sound and Republic Records.
Initially, the album was supposed to release in January, but was delayed multiple times.
The album comprises 21-track, featuring guest appearances from Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Giveon, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, Yebba, 21 Savage, Project Pat, Tems, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Kid Cudi.
Produced by frequent collaborators 40, Nineteen85, PartyNextDoor, OZ, and Vinylz, among others.
Also, Drake dedicated the album to 33-year-old Janae Gagnier, who was better known as Miss Mercedes Morr and killed by a stalker, and Nadia Ntuli, who was a close friend of him and died in a car accident earlier this year.
Drake wrote, “A combination of toxic masculinity and acceptance of truth which is inevitably heartbreaking. Executive produced by me, Noah “40” Shebib, Oliver El-Khatib, and Noel Cadastre. Dedicated to Nadia Ntuli and Mercedes Morr. RIP 💖”
The new music video for ”Way 2 Sex” was directed by Dave Meyers, featuring Future and Young Thug.
The song sampled “I'm Too Sexy”, which was released by Right Said Fred in 1991.- source : Apple Music
