All Time Low & Pale Waves Team Up for New Song “PMA”
American rock band All Time Low teamed up with British alt-rock band Pale Waves to release a new song “PMA”, which means “Post Modern Anxiety”, on July 30, 2021.
This marks the first collaboration between All Time Low and Pale Waves.
Before the release of the song, the two bands teased a live version and an acoustic version of the song on instagram, each.
For All Time Low, the song follows up "Once in a Lifetime", which was released back in March.
All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth said of the song, “'PMA' is a journey into isolation and overstimulation. It's about the little mundane things we do to keep ourselves distracted when loneliness becomes a constant and leaves us feeling apathetic. It's existential dread wrapped in nervous laughter kissed by the SoCal sun. Heather and Pale Waves joining us on this one quite literally brings the hopeful shine to the lyrics, the promise of safety in the shared experience, the understanding we're all living it together.”
The band will perform at Sad Summer Festival in New Jersey on September 9, 2021.
Meanwhile, for Pale Waves, it is their first single since their sophomore album “Who Am I?”, which was released back in February.
Also, Pale Waves is currently working on the third album. The band shared on social media, “Hiiii sorry we've been quiet we're working on album 3. Miss and 🖤 u all stay safe and get vaccinated 🖤”- nUoz6HaFg88
