Los Angeles-based British singer-songwriter Johnny Ashby has released a new song “Wild”.
The song is taken from his upcoming debut album, following “Lucky” released back in March.
It was written and co-produced with Sebastian Fritze, Fredrik Eriksson and Bill Delia from the band Grizfolk.
Johnny Ashby said of the song, “I've always wanted to write two songs that tied together. Like a part A and part B. SOS (2020's song) was a song about this Goonies-esque adventure with a more playful and childlike innocence to it. Wild is written in the aftermath. That feeling when you return home from an adventure but you just can't wait to go back out there and find another one. It's finding that connection with yourself when you go into the unknown. I feel like those are the moments when I've learnt the most about myself. Anxiety tries to take over but if you let all that go, the Wild is where you truly find yourself.”
