Sean Watson Graham Releases New Song “Nice Night To Get Lost”
- Toronto-based singer-songwriter Sean Watson Graham unveiled a new song “Nice Night To Get Lost”.
The song is the second single off of his upcoming debut EP, following “Your Life Is a Story” released back in January.
It was written by Sean Watson Graham and produced by Sam Arion.
Sean Watson Graham explained of the song, “Guitar and storytelling is what brought me to music in the first place, but by 2013 I had all but abandoned my folky roots for synths, dance beats and pop one-liners. One night while out at the movies with my family, we saw Coen Brothers classic, Inside Llewyn Davis. It inspired me to pick up the guitar and dive back into writing my own story-driven folk songs, including the original draft of 'Nice Night To Get Lost.'”
- He continued, “After years of the song existing only in my mind, I decided to hit the studio with my good friend, Sam Arion of Mute Choir, hand over the control and let him fully produce it. It was the first track to really define the sonic sound of my new project and solidify Sam as the producer of my forthcoming EP. Coming from the indie rock world, this song felt like a brand new start to a style of music I had wanted to do for a long time but never fully explored. It has been in my back pocket for some time, yet the recording process has breathed new life into it.“
The debut EP is expected to be released later this year.
