- American country music singer-songwriter Thomas Rhett released his fifth studio album “Country Again (Side A)” on April 30, 2021.
It is his first album in two years. The album is the first of a two-part project and comprises of 11-track, produced by Dann Huff and Jesse Frasure. The second part, “Country Again Side B” will arrive later this year.
Thomas Rhett shared on social media, “Country Again (Side A), is out now. This album is a representation of the life that's been lived the last few years. It feels good to be here and even better to share it with y'all. Country Again: Side A to me feels like coming home. These were the things 19 year old me wanted to be able to say, sing, and share with y'all but hadn't lived the life enough to do it yet. Today I am more centered and aware of what's important in life than I ever have been and I hope you hear & feel that in this music.”
Thomas Rhett co-wrote songs wih his father and country singer Thomas Rhett Akins on the album. “There was a part of me that really just wanted to write with just a guitar from now on, and write on the piano, and get to write with my dad a whole lot more again,” Thomas Rhett told Billboard. “My dad is on so many songs on this record. I've written with dad on every record -- but not this much, and so it was nice to just reconnect.”
