Jungle Announces New Album “Loving In Stereo”, Premieres New Song “Keep Moving” on BBC Radio 1
London-based electro-pop duo Jungle, consisting of Josh Lloyd-Watson and Thomas McFarlane, announced their upcoming third studio album “Loving In Stereo” will be released on August 13, 2021.
From the album, the duo premiered a new song “Keep Moving” on BBC Radio 1 Annie Mac's Hottest Record in the World, along with a music video.
The video was directed by J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido. Thomas McFarlane explained, “Our focus was to create a collection of visuals where we developed the narratives of the characters throughout the whole piece, giving the audience a chance to form more emotional connections to these inspiring people.”
Josh Lloyd-Watson said, “We had always been inspired by West Side Story and the idea of two groups working together and in opposition at times. We worked closely with two of the best up and coming choreographers in London, Nathaniel Williams and Cece Nama, who both have their own distinct styles. The fusing of these two styles created a whole new approach for us where style and movement could be fluid.”- The album comprises of 14-track and is their first LP in three yeas.
Lloyd-Watson told NME, “I really think that these are the most Jungle songs we've made.” Thomas McFarlane added, “[This album] feels like what we've always had in our heads. If you go back and compare it to the first record, they feel smaller and more introverted. This feels like a whole new level.”
