• salem ilese Releases New Song “(L)only Child”

• Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter salem ilese unveiled a new song “(L)only Child” with an accompanying music video on March 19, 2021.
  The song follows up the collaboration song “Fake A Smile” with Norwegian DJ Alan Walker, which was released back in February.
  The track will appear on her upcoming debut EP. It was written by Bendik Møller, Salem Davern, Eivind Aksnes Rebnord, Bernard Sioeng Dinata and Megan Albidress. Prodeced by Bendik Møller and Eivind Rebnord.
  The music video was directed by Jason Lester.

  She said of the song, “'(L)only Child' took about two years to make and I went through countless versions in the process. I feel like this song says more about me than any bio could. On the surface, it details my experiences of being an only child, but at the root, it's about my acceptance that all I have is myself at the end of the day. Being an only child taught me how to be my own bestie”
