Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Conan Gray Releases New Song “Overdrive”
Back in March 2020, American singer-songwriter Conan Gray released his debut album “Kid Krow”, which reached No. 5 on the the US Billboard 200, making it the biggest US new artist debut of 2020.
Following the album, he collaborated with American singer-songwriter Lauv for “Fake”, which was released last October.
He has been kept busy to create his own music, then dropped the first single of 2021 entitled “Overdrive” on February 18, 2021.
The track was written by Tobias Jesso Jr., Stefan Johnson, German, Jordan K. Johnson, Christopher John Stracey and Conan Gray. Produced by German, The Monsters & Strangerz, Tobias Jesso Jr. and Chris Stracey.
Conan Gray shared on social media, “Wanted to start the year off with a song to escape from reality for a little bit with. Something to scream into the shower head and fantasize about secret lovers and alternate reckless lives we could've lived. He has already shot the music video for the song, which will be premiered soon. Directed by Dillon Matthew and Conan Gray himself.
