RAYE Releases New Mini Album “Euphoric Sad Songs”: Streaming
- London-based singer-songwriter RAYE released her fifth EP “Euphoric Sad Songs” as a mini album on November 20th.
The mini album comprises of 9-track, featuring guest appearances from Rudimental and Regard.
She has been working on the project for the last year. Initially, the EP title was “Her Heart Beats in 4/4”. The project would be centred around the theme of the "seven stages of grief". According to RAYE, she wrote the album during each stage of grief and that ultimately the creative process had healed her broken heart. Finally, the EP was added previously released singles "Love Me Again" and "Please Don't Touch", as well as it was re-titled “Euphoric Sad Songs”, with the project featuring 9 songs.
RAYE said, “This project explains the nine stages of grief. The first song is a really dramatic, confused power ballad, and then we progress through to the last song when you finally say with your full heart that you’ve healed. I'm very proud of this work and I can't wait for everyone to hear all the tracks. I hope everyone enjoys this slice of me.“
