BENEE Premieres New Song “Happen To Me”
New Zealand alt-pop singer-songwriter BENEE released a new song “Happen To Me” on November 7th.
The song is taken from her upcoming debut album “Hey U X”. It was written by BENEE and Josh Fountain.
She performed the song during her 2020 New Zealand-wide tour and at her October 17 live-streamed show in Auckland.
BENEE shared on social media, “Happen To Me is out ❣️This is my favourite track on the album and a song I wrote when I was quite sad. I worry a lot. Thank you @fucksunjack for making the art <3”
The debut album is set to be released on November 13th and comprises of 13-track. She told Otago Daily Times, “I'm just very excited to be honest, I'm super keen to get it out. It's been brewing. I've had to keep it a secret for a while. I think the pressure will hit me when I've released it. I try not to overthink whether or not it will do well because that'll just stress me out. “Hey u x” was something that I thought was cute. I feel like there's never a word that sums up the whole think. I try to just find something that's completely relevant.”- source : Spotify
