Brooklyn-based dark moody rock band My Dear Mycroft, consisting of Joemca (guitar / vocals), Jess Luck (analog synth / low end / vocals), and Rob Heath (drums), announced their debut album “Heaven's Entertainment” will be released on October 30, 2020.
The album features 10-track, following their sophomore EP “Wiiiild” released in 2014.
From the album, the band unveiled a new song “Psyche” on October 6th. The track is inspired by fortune telling and prophecy.
“This song was met with a long case of writer's block and the minimalism of the lyrics made it particularly difficult to get the right feel,” says Joemca. “It wasn't until one dawn when I let go of trying that everything fell into place. The process affirmed the main theme of the song—that of letting go.”- source : Variance Magazine
