Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Sasha Sloan Releases New Song “Is It Just Me?”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Sasha Sloan will release her debut album “Only Child” on October 16th.
The album was preceded by two singles “Lie” and “House with No Mirrors”, so far.
In addition, she unveiled a new song “Is It Just Me?” as the third promotional single from the album on September 18th.
It was written by Sasha Sloan, Nicolle Galyon and King Henry.
She told American Songwriter about the song, “I feel like I do have a lot of unpopular opinions, but I'm too scared to voice them. I'm not alone in this, but I think a little differently. I don't buy into bullshit, and I don't really have the dream of getting married and having babies. And I'm not religious. I don't really know what I believe in or know who I am or want to be.”
She continued, “This song was really challenging not to take it too far. We definitely had moments when we came up with lyrics and had to go, 'Oh, we can't put that in there.'”- source : American Songwriter
