Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Kygo Releases Donna Summer's “Hot Stuff” Remix
In 2019, Norwegian DJ Kygo created Whitney Houston's "Higher Love" remix, which reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart. Followed by, he collaborated with Tina Turner to release a remix of her 1984 song "What's Love Got to Do with It" back in May.
Following both, he created a new version of The Queen of Disco Donna Summer's mega hit “Hot Stuff”.
The song will appear on his upcoming album “Divas & Dancers”, which is out October 30, 2020.
The accompanying music video was directed by Bo Webb, starring Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes.
The original version of “Hot Stuff” was released by Donna Summer from her seventh studio album “Bad Girls” in 1979.
The single reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Also, Ralphi Rosario and Erick Ibiza released a remix entitled “Hot Stuff 2018” went to number one on the US Dance Club Songs chart.- source : Stereogum
