Future Islands Releases New Song “Moonlight”
Baltimore-based synth-pop band Future Islands released the third single off “Moonlight” of their upcoming sixth studio album “As Long As You Are” on September 15th.
The accompanying music video was directed by Will Mayer, starring Callie Hernandez and Matthew Gray Gubler.
“‘Moonlight’ is a song about love in a depressive state,” frontman Samuel T. Herring reveals in the press release. “It’s about recognizing the holes in ourselves and recognizing the circular whole of others. ‘Moonlight’ is about acceptance because that’s what love allows us all.”
The new album is set to be released on October 9th and contains 11-track. It is their first album in three years.- source : NME
