Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ AVBE Drops New Music Video for “Where I Go” featuring Sam H
Franco-American singer-songwriter and guitarist AVBE teamed up with Chicago based singer-songwriter Sam H to release a new song “Where I Go” on September 3rd.
The song is the first single off of his upcoming EP “Dawn”. Raphael Olivier, AVBE's real name, said of the song, “This song is the beginning of my next journey - my first real, big project. I've been writing music between France and the US for the past 2 years, and this song being about home, love, doubt, changes, etc. felt like the best starting point.”
On September 15th, the pair dropped a music video for the song, directed by Oriane Playner.
The video was shot in Chicago. He said, “We had so much fun shooting this one in Chicago with the amazing Oriane Playner (director) and the incredible Jena Snelling (director of photography) - also, thanks to the one and only Raph Tanneur for playing my best friend haha!”- The 6-track EP will be released in October. He said, “This EP is the reflection, the declaration of my passage. It's the root; the essence. It's me. It's you. It's simple and absurd at the same time. I waited for days, and many more, of listening and feeling in silence, the contractions and movements under my skin - life through my body. Doubts, changes - time stretching, the fire of inside ... It's time to document it all. This is the most honest version of myself, yet.”
