Kristian Kostov Releases New EP “Mood:”: Streaming
Bulgarian-Russian singer-songwriter Kristian Kostov released his third EP “Mood:” on July 10, 2020.
The EP contains 6-track and features '80s inspired electro-pop sound.
Kristian Kostov said of the EP, “With Mood: I wanted to show I have different styles of songs in one EP. I didn't want to have an album because an album, for me, is like one story or a movie while an EP is a mixtape of songs. Like, every song is different. I wanted to have a song for each section of my fanbase to vibe too. That's why it's called Mood: – it's different moods but the same kind of sound.”
From the EP, he dropped a new music video for “Thinking” directed by Kiyashqo on August 8th.- He shared on social media, “I'm super proud to announce that our new music video for “Thinking” is OUT! It's the fastest project of ours when it comes to MVs yet my favorite by far🙏 The aesthetics, the story, the process, the team, everything was just right! I wanna dive a little deeper into the story: The setting of the music video draws inspiration from “Pictures from home”, a series of photographs made by Larry Sultan, an American photographer from the 70s. There, Larry explores the myth behind a model American family and ultimately disillusions his viewer on the topic. - Following the same philosophy, «Thinking» depicts a less romantic, more psychedelic side of a love-struck state, that drives the hero close to the point of insanity. He is constantly followed by his thoughts about his love interest, making it hard for him to distinguish between illusion and reality:: “Six in the morning, When I'm alone, I'm running in circles in my bed”.
