American rapper Christon Gray released a new song “Beautiful Dreamer” on Juneteenth (June 19th) as a response to the murder of George Floyd.
Th track is a political and social justice anthem that speaks about the racial and social injustices in America and all over the world. The lyrics were drawn from Christon’s own personal journey.
Christon Gray said of the song, “Beautiful Dreamer came to fruition after the George Floyd murder and subsequent protests in the United States. I couldn’t sit and be silent, I also wasn’t going to be bullied into groupthink on either side of the equation. I prayed about it and I spoke from the heart.”
The song will appear on his upcoming fifth studio album “School of Roses 2”, which is expected to be released later this year.- source : trackstarz
