Phlake Shares New Song “Slip Away” featuring Mercedes the Virus
Danish R&B duo Phlake has shared a new song “Slip Away” featuring the enigmatic Mercedes the Virus.
The duo worked with Mercedes the Virus following previous song “Baby Steps”, which was released last November.
The track is influenced from reggae music and the duo created it in Los Angels. “ It’s a reggaeton-influenced song about sucking it all in. Keeping something too close, so it doesn’t slip away, but you actually keep it too tight...” the duo said one the song.
Phlake is consisting of Mads Bo (vocals) and Jonathan Elkær (beats) and formed in 2015. The duo has released two albums "Slush Hours" and "Weird Invitations" which reached No. 1 on Danish Albums chart, so far.- source : CLASH
