Fifth Harmony New Song “Down” Featuring Gucci Mane / First Performance on Good Morning America
American girl group Fifth Harmony released a new song "Down" featuring American hip hop recording artist Gucci Mane on June 2nd. Following releasing the song, the group appeared on Good Morning America, where they performed the new song, "Work From Home" and "Worth It".
The new song is taken their upcoming third studio album (yet-untitled) and written by Joshua Coleman, Jude Demorest, Dallas Koehlke and Gucci Mane.
This track is the first song after leaving original band member Camila Cabello.
"Work From Home" was released in February 2016 from the group's second studio album "7/27". The song reached number 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 2 on the UK Singles Chart.
"Worth It" was released in March 2015. Featuring American rapper Kid Ink. The song is the third single from the group's debut studio album "Reflection".
Before taking to the stage, the band spoke about the new song;
"We’re so incredibly excited. We’re so so excited about ‘Down.’ Brand new Fifth Harmony, brand new era."
Fifth Harmony was formed on the second season of The X Factor US in July 2012. The group consists of members Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and previously Camila Cabello, who left the group Last December.
The band has released two studio albums, five extended plays, seven singles and ten music videos, to date.
They won four iHeartRadio Music Awards, three MTV Europe Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, an American Music Award, a Billboard Women in Music award and seven Teen Choice Awards.-
