American country music singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves appeared on Saturday Night Live to perform “Deeper Well” and “Too Good to be True”.
This marks the third time Kacey Musgraves has been the musical performer on the sketch show, following in May 2018 and in the fall 2021.
Two songs will appear on her upcoming sixth studio album “Deeper Well”, which is set to be released on March 15, 2024 via MCA Nashville and Interscope Records.
The album title track “Deeper Well” was released as the first single from the album last month.
Kacey Musgraves said of the song, “Sometimes you reach a crossroads. Winds change direction. What you once felt drawn to doesn't hold the same allure. You get blown off course but eventually find your footing and forage for new inspiration, new insight and deeper love somewhere else.”- “Too Good to be True” is the second single off of the album. The track was written by Anna Nalick, Daniel Tashian, Ian Fitchuk, and Kacey Musgraves. Produced by Daniel Tashian, Ian Fitchuk, and Kacey Musgraves.

Kacey Musgraves said of the album, “I didn't know what kind of record I was going to make. Other than the fact that it was going to be soft and organic and honest. My songwriting roots. And about less meaning more. But beyond that, this album is about who I am in love, and what I'm looking for. The songs are very spiritual.
