Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ EMMI IIDA Releases New Song “Higher Self” featuring Peachkit
Finnish singer-songwriter EMMI IIDA will release her debut album “The Eye” on February 22, 2024 via her own label EFG Records Oy.
EMMI IIDA said of the album, “My passion is to constantly expand my limits and express what I feel called to create, most recently I started a holistic record label. February 22nd I’m releasing my debut album, which is filled with themes of the chakras, lessons I’ve learned recently, and tuned into healing frequencies.”
She continued, “All of the songs on the album have been very therapeutic to me, from losing a baby to divorcing and all other hardships that life’s been throwing at me - and they’ve been showing me how to turn some of life’s most miserable moments into magic, how to alchemize the experiences into something beautiful and healing.”
From the album, she unveiled the fourth single called “Higher Self” along with a music video on February 1, 2024.
This time, she teamed up with Nashville-based singer-songwriter Peachkit on the track
It was written by Emmi Granlund, and Jessica Sharman who also produced the track.
The accompanying video was directed by Tildeath Network.- She said of the song, “What if you keep worrying for your past, living in the past, wondering if there’s no point in life, only failure? What if nothing seems to make sense, just mistakes after mistakes? Your inner self, your higher self, comes to remind you that those experiences and so called failures are all moulding you, preparing you to be ready for the future you who you will become when you continue listening to your gut feelings, things that excite you, following in the path of your dreams. 'Higher Self' is about the connection with the divine, balancing the frequencies of our crown chakra, finding that oneness within.”
