Ariana Grande Returns With New Song “yes, and?”
American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande returned with a new song “yes, and?” on January 12, 2024.
The song is the first single off of her upcoming seventh studio album “Eternal Sunshine”.
She co-wrote and co-produced the song with Swedish record producer Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh.
In the past, Ariana Grande, Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh have worked together for her 2014 second album “My Everything”.
The accompanying music video was directed by Christian Breslauer.
The song is inspired by Madonna’s iconic 1990 single “Vogue”. Meanwhile, the video is inspired by Paula Abdul’s 1988 music video for “Cold Hearted”.
The new album is expected to be released in 2024 via Republic Records. Produced by Ariana Grande, Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh.
It is her first album in four years since the 2020 album “Positions”.- Ahead of the release of the song, Ariana Grande reflected on 2023 on social media, “One of the most transformative, most challenging, and yet happiest and most special years of my life. There were so many beautiful and yet polarized feelings. I’ve never felt more at the mercy of and in acceptance of what life was screaming to teach me.
