Joy (Anonymous) Releases New Song “Joy (Push the button)” featuring Sugababes
London-based dance duo Joy (Anonymous), consisting of Henry Counsell and Louis Curran, released a new song “Joy (Push the button)” on December 22, 2023.
The song is a rework of British girl group Sugababes' 2005 hit song “Push the Button”.
The track was originally a bootleg, but after Sugababes heard it, they teamed up officially with Joy Anonymous to release it.
It was written by Dallas Austin, Heidi Range, Keisha Buchanan, and Mutya Buena. Produced by Joy Anonymous and Ed Phillips.
Joy (Anonymous) said, “Sugababes' 'Push The Button' is an iconic track so we had some fun in the studio making a bootleg version that we didn't expect to put out. But the reception and support was amazing and then to hear the girls themselves loved it was pretty cool. So we all got together and thought, no better Christmas present than giving people what they've been asking for. Merry Christmas.”
Sugababes added, “We heard this bootleg of 'Push The Button' being played all summer, and the reaction was insane, so we're excited to now team up officially with Joy Anonymous to release the song as a special present to you guys to see out 2023.”- Photo by Dan Sullivan
