The Irrepressibles Releases New Song “Will I Ever Find a Home?”
Manchester-based singer-songwriter Jamie Irrepressible, with his seven-piece band The Irrepressibles, released a new song “Will I Ever Find a Home?” on November 23, 2023.
The song is the first single since his latest EP “Self Love & Acceptance”, which was released last month.
The track was written by Jamie McDermott.
The song was written in the wake of the passing of Jamie’s beloved cousin, Martin Williams.
Jamie Irrepressible said of the song, “'Will I Ever Find A Home?' expresses the longing to find that someone as a gay man or queer person in these times of fleeting affairs and commercialism where the sense of home with someone to love becomes all too elusive.”
He continued, “It's also far too often the case that LGBTQI people aren't given a sense of home by those who should - their families and communities.”-
