Diplo & HUGEL Premiere New Song “Stay High” featuring Julia Church on BBC Radio 1
American DJ Diplo and French DJ HUGEL teamed up to premiere a new song “Stay High” on BBC Radio 1's Dance Party with Danny Howard.
Both DJ recruited London-based South African singer-songwriter Julia Church on the track.
The track was released as a double-single including a VIP rework via Diplo's own label Higher Ground.
The song is the follow-up to “Favela Joint” with Kura, which was released last month.
The track was written by Daniel Ledinsky, Jakob Jerlström, Ludvig Söderberg, and Tove Lo. Produced by Diplo, HUGEL and Maesic.
Diplo said of the song, “We've been playing this record for about a year gotta sung by Julia Church. The song is something that was kind of like in between all these Afro house Latin house bangers and something that you know familiar and people could rock with. So here it is.”- source : BBC Radio 1
