  • Obongjayar Premieres New Song “Who Let Him In” on BBC Radio 1

  • London-based Nigerian singer-songwriter Obongjayar premiered a new song “Who Let Him In” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.

The song is follow-up to the collaborative song “adore u” with Fred again.., and also as solo single, follows up “Just Cool” released back in May.
The track was written by Obongjayar, Kwes Darko, Sam Knowles, and Steven Umoh. Produced by Karma Kid and Kwes Darko.
Also, the song will appear on EA Sports' upcoming video game “EA Sports FC 24” soundtrack.
Obongjayar told Clara Amfo about the song, “I've learned myself and everything I've done I feel like I'm I think this song is about the underdog, it's about being the I am the underdog. I feel like my whole career so far has been that of the underdog story of so many doors shut my face. So many knows like what's this, what is this supposed to be like, I know people are catching up, and this is good that the world is finally catching up to what it is that I do what it is that we do. So if you feel like me the song is for you.”
  • He continued, “Feel something? It feels great, I think I mean, I'm a strong believer and still do my thing myself and others. And there's obviously moments when you're down and you're like, why isn't this happening, why isn't this working. But I think the things that get me out of those moments of reminding myself that it was fine. They don't get it now. They'll catch up. Just keep working, keep doing, keep getting better. I think that's one of the most important things keep getting better. And looking in the mirror reminding yourself why you do this and who you do this for and never forget that so that keeps me rolling. So this year feels like things are happening just wait to connect next year.”
