Cayo Coco Releases New Song “Ghosts Talk”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Lumen Loraine's solo project Cayo Coco released a new song “Ghosts Talk” on August 18, 2023.
The song is the second single off of his upcoming sophomore album, following “Gently, Dreamer” released last month.
The track was written by Lumen Loraine, Blake Harman, Zach Fogarty, and Daniel Chae. Produced by Lumen Loraine and Zach Fogarty.
He has already filmed a music video for the song, which is coming soon.
Lumen Loraine said of the song, “Part of me felt like this song was also written about spirit guides. My angels are constantly chatting with me, but it took me a long time to understand the nuances of their language. Once I started to tune in, I realized that “ghosts” do in fact talk and the ones assigned to us are here to help us heal and navigate our earthly lessons. I hope this song creates a space for listeners to feel seen, guided, and loved by both the physical & the invisible.”- Lumen Loraine shared on social media, “This song is about my experience being deeply connected to a person who wasn't available to receive my love. At first, I thought she was the unavailable one but in time the dynamic showed me how I too was equally as unavailable to myself, to connection, & to life. For when you choose someone or something that isn't choosing you, are you not choosing eternal longing & resistance? Through this experience I realized how parts of me were in hiding. I felt small & saw how readily I was avoiding vulnerability. The message of this tune was directed towards my inner child, her inner child, & any one who feels like they may be hiding part of themselves in order to protect their heart.”
