Alyssa Reid Returns With New Song “Die For Love”
Canadian singer-songwriter Alyssa Reid released a new song “Die For Love” on July 28, 2023.
Back in January, she released the 10th anniversary edition of her debut song “Alone Again”.
“Die For Love” follows up it, but is her first new music in a year since the 2022 single “When It Hurts” for her.
The track was written by Alyssa Reid, Jamie Appleby, and Ryan Stewart. Produced by Jamie Appleby and Ryan Stewart.
Alyssa Reid said of the song, “'Die For Love' was the love child of two of my playlists I’d had on repeat all spring - my 60’s/70’s themed “strawberry fields forever” and 'hype' dance workout playlist. 'Die for Love' started as a gut wrenching ballad that talks about the lengths we allow ourselves to get hurt and lost when it comes to the ones we love.”- She continued, “After writing, we were inspired to pair the topline (influenced by the beautiful melodies of Hall and Oates), with a driving, energetic dance beat, creating a song that sounds both current and classic all at once.”
