Josh Ramsay Releases New Song “Perfect Mistake” featuring Ria Mae
Canadian singer-songwriters Josh Ramsay and Ria Mae teamed up to release a new song “Perfect Mistake” on July 6, 2023.
The song is included on Josh Ramsay's debut solo album “The Josh Ramsay Show”, which was released last April.
The track was written by Josh Ramsay and Ria Mae. Produced by Josh Ramsay.
The accompanying music video was directed by Ben Knechtel.
Josh Ramsay shared on social media, “So much fun! A bouncy blend of what we each do that came together completely by accident. Even the song is a Perfect Mistake! Our video for Perfect Mistake is finally out.”
Josh Ramsay is known as a lead singer of Canadian pop rock band Marianas Trench.
He made his solo album during the COVID-19 pandemic.- Josh Ramsay told American Songwriter about the album in an interview in 2022, “Basically, I always planned on doing an album where I played all the instruments myself-that was one bucket list thing for me. Working in Marianas Trench and producing other people on the side are two very full-time jobs. When the pandemic happened, and everything was in quarantine, all of a sudden I had the opportunity to do something since me and the guys couldn't get together. The first question I had for myself: 'you want to do a solo record, what does that look like?' I wasn't going to make another Marianas Trench record, so that led me to do as many genres as possible.”
