Australian singer-songwriter Maya Cumming, aka MAY-A has announced her sophomore EP “Analysis Paralysis” will be released on September 1, 2023.
It is her first project in two years since the 2021 debut EP “Don't Kiss Ur Friends”. The EP comprises 7-track.
From the EP, she released the third single called “LOLA” along with a music video on June 30, 2023, following “Your Funeral” and “Sweat You Out My System”.
The track was written by MAY-A and Robby DeSa. Produced by Andrew Wells and Robby DeSa.
The accompanying video was directed by Murli Dhir.
“LOLA feels more nonchalant and raw (production wise) compared to the other songs on the EP,” MAY-A said of the sonf. “It's written about that weird kind of feeling when you can be so pure and honest with somebody when you're alone, but they feel like a different person in public. A strange type of self-contained isolated relationship. 'Lola' is giving up on trying to get through to somebody who doesn't seem like they want to be with you at all”- source : Apple Music
