  • Bad Mary Drops New Music Video for “Vibe-icide” from New EP “Trash & Glamour”

  • New York-based punk rock band Bad Mary, consisting of Amanda Mac (vocals), Mike Staub (bass), Bill Mac (drums) and David Henderson (guitar), has dropped a new music video for “Vibe-icide” after their Japan tour concluded.

The song is featured on their latest EP “Trash & Glamour”, which was released back in May.
The band bassist Mike Staub said of the song, “It's a song about killing your own vibe. Ever feel like you're having a great day and that something has just got to go wrong to wreck it? Yeah, us too. Almost to the point of self-sabotage, we take a cheeky look at being our own worst enemies. Even if we did something right, we feel like we did it the wrong way. Vibe-Icide is meant to be a sarcastic look at how we will wreck our good times with bad thoughts. The song is crunchy, punchy, and a little grimy. We love that and when thinking of the perfect song to kick off Trash & Glamour, we knew Vibe was the best fit. "don't give me bad vibes... I'll kill my own, thanks."
  • The EP comprises 6-track and is their first project since the 2022 EP “Rock and Roll Classics:, Vol. 7”.
The band lead singer Amanda Mac said of the EP, “With this EP we really wanted to get back to thrashy/trashy rock and roll. In a way we're back at our roots with simple and fun songs and hit the ground running right away. After a concept album and two cover EPs we felt the need to strip things down a little and get punchy again.”
Later this year they will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their first album Better Days with the release of re-recorded and remixed versions of the songs, the EP Better(er) Days will be out in the fall.

  • Also, Mike Staub said of Japan tour, “The tour was incredible! We got to perform at amazing venues in Japan, meet our Japanese fans, and play to packed houses. Each venue was incredible and everything from audience response to sound quality was among the best. These were some of the absolute best shows we've ever played, we are looking forward to bringing the show to more US audiences this year.”
