Martin Garrix & Sentinel Team Up for New Song “Hurricane” featuring Bonn
Back in April, Dutch DJ Martin Garrix's label STMPD RCRDS and Tomorrowland Music announced their upcoming EP “STMPD RCRDS x Tomorrowland Music Vol. II” would be released in August 2023. This marks the second collaboration between STMPD RCRDS and Tomorrowland Music.
From the EP, DubVision's “P.R.O.G.2” and Julian Jordan's “Aspirin” were released in April and May, respectively so far.
Following two songs, Martin Garrix unveiled the third single called “Hurricane” on June 2, 2023.
This time, he teamed up with Australia DJ trio Sentinel and Swedish singer-songwriter Kristoffer Fogelmark, aka Bonn.
Martin Garrix first performed at weekend 2 of Tomorrowland on the Mainstage last year.
The track was written by Martijn Garritsen, Kristoffer Fogelmark, Albin Nedler, Johnathon Ronald Stent, Michael Richard Stent, and Timothy James Stent.
- Martin Garrix said of the song, “There was an amazing energy while creating this song. Bonn and I have worked together many times before, and his amazing voice perfectly fits 'Hurricane'. I'm also super excited that we're teaming up with Tomorrowland again this year for both the EP and the stage hosting this summer. We are working on some amazing surprises for that one.”
Sentinel added, “From the very first draft of this song, we knew we had an anthem on our hands. We had Martin and Bonn in mind from the very start and so finishing the song together with them has been incredibly special. We are all very proud, and excited to share Hurricane with the world.”
