Little Lies Releases New Song “Carolina”
Swedish pop rock duo Little Lies, consisting of Mikael Nordgren (producer) and Anna Maria Espinosa (vocals), released a new song “Carolina” on May 12, 2023.
The song is the second single off of their forthcoming debut EP “Us Against The World”, following “Swallowed Up In Space” released back in February.
Also, the song will appear on their upcoming concept album “Destination Unknown”, which is expected to be released later this year.
It was written and produced by Mikael Nordgren.
The accompanying studio session visualizer was filmed at RMV Studio Stockholm.
Mikael Nordgren said of the song, “‘Carolina’ tells the tale about standing up for a friend who is being treated badly by a partner. Musically we usually create a mixed soundscape with old and new, but with ‘Carolina’ we’ve gone all in for a homage to the 60’s music we both love.”
The duo together created a musical world with a touch of retro but with futuristic aspects. The name Little Lies is taken from a song from the great inspiration and common denominator Fleetwood Mac.- Photo by Martin Landl
