  • Hot Milk Premieres New Song “PARTY ON MY DEATHBED” on BBC Radio 1

  • Manchester-based emo pop band Hot Milk, consisting of Han Mee (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Jim Shaw (lead vocals/guitar), Tom Paton (bass) and Harry Deller (drums), premiered a new song “PARTY ON MY DEATHBED” along with a music video on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.

The song is the second single off of their upcoming debut album “A CALL TO THE VOID”, which is set to be released on August 25, 2023.
The track was written by Hannah Mee, James Shaw, and Zachary Joseph Cervini. Produced by James Shaw, Zakk Cervini and Philip Strand.
Han Mee said of the song, “We can't be helped, we just wanna squeeze out every morsel of this life and being a bit of a wreckhead has come hand in hand with the pursuit of fun. Can't be stopped, don't wanna be stopped, we're sorry but we're not, maybe we're just lost. Who cares, life's about connection n getting off the fuckin internet n losing ur mind on the streets of Manny and finding it again on your way home.”
  • Hot Milk told Clara Amfo, “Glorious lovers of the night and hate isn't the day like come on, come on. We can't be held. We just want to squeeze out every morsel of this life and been a bit of a record has gone hand in hand. The pursuit of fun. So wherever you are, put your phone down, turn up your radios. This is 'PARTY ON MY DEATHBED'.”

  • The debut album comprises 11-track, featuring guest appearances from Julian Comeau and Loveless.
The band said of the album, ”A modern analysis of the dichotomy between the darkness of the inner world and the darkness of the outer world which inform our personal world views and realities. Joy, commonality, the exertion of powerful feeling and energy exist somewhere in between. In this record we journey through all these feelings, some being specific moments and some being more abstract,,, all of them in relation to being on the precipice of trying to understand the dark side and void that exists inside us all.”
