George FitzGerald Premieres New Song “Mother” featuring SYML on BBC Radio 1
London-based electronic music producer George FitzGerald premiered a new song “Mother” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
This time, he teamed up with Seattle-based singer-songwriter SYML on the track.
The song is the first single off of his upcoming 4-track EP “Not As I”, which is set to be released on June 9, 2023.
It was written by George FitzGerald and Brian Fennell. Produced by George FitzGerald.
George FitzGerald said of the song, “It was written with SYML, who features on the vocal and without saying too much, it's about a time when he lost his father and it was also written at a time when I lost somebody very close to me, and I hope people can hear that motion in this track. I tried to make it as beautiful as possible. And I hope that people enjoy it.”
