Ali Gatie Releases New Song “Seasonal Love”
Iraqi-Canadian singer-songwriter Ali Gatie released a new song “Seasonal Love” along with a music video on March 17, 2023.
The song is the follow-up to “All Comes Back To You”, which was released last month.
It was written by Ali Gatie, Jesse Epp, Breyan Isaac. Produced by J Grooves.
The accompanying video was directed by Luciano Picazo, who also created the previous music video.
“Seasonal love brings temporary happiness that we mistakenly believe to be a long lasting, forever thing,” Ali Gatie said of the song. “When the season comes to an end, the relationship meets its inevitable demise, along with our hopes and aspirations, leaving us to desperately understand why. We are left with unanswered questions and expectations that have no clear resolution.”- “We can't go back to the season or try to salvage what once was, instead we must move on, and mourn the love we lost,” he added. “The season's purpose is to nurture you, bring you back to life, and fill the gaps that can only be remedied by love. What makes it difficult for us to let go of seasonal love is the unclear nature in the way they dissolve. We just have to hold onto the lessons they taught us, the love and the memories they provided.”
