Emei Releases New Song “Scatterbrain”
Los Angeles-based Chinese-American alt-pop singer-songwriter Emei released a new song “Scatterbrain” on February 3, 2023.
The song is the first single off of her upcoming sophomore EP.
When she teased the song on social media, it accrued over 3M views in the past 7 days.
She first performed the song during a halftime show tmr night for the LA Clippers at the crypto.com arena back in January.
It was written by Boyblue, Kyle Reynolds, KUNFETTI, and Emei. Produced by Boyblue.
The song captures the chaotic brain of someone with ADHD and how to help calm it down.
The track features side-chained vocal-stacked harmonies.
Emei shared on social media, “I wrote a love song for ADHD baddies. so proud of this one it sounds exactly like my brain it's everything I can't even express how excited I am.”
