London-based DJ Danny Wheeler, aka WheelUP announced his sophomore album “We Are the Magic” would be released on April 28, 2023.
It is his first project in two years since the 2021 debut album “Good Love”.
From the album, he unveiled a new song “More Life” on January 26, 2023.
This time, he teamed up with London-based music producer Abacus and British singer-songwriter Victoria Port on the track.
The track was written by Mapendla Daniel Moyo, Victoria Port, and Harry Bryson.
Danny Wheeler said of the song, “When Victoria wrote the lyrics, she was pregnant with her baby and the line ‘I’ve got two hearts beating inside’ really touched me.”- The new album comprises 11-track, featuring guest appearances from Abacus, Victoria Port, Toya Delazy, Steelo, Spaceship Coyote and Brint Story.
Danny Wheeler said of the album, “It’s a somewhat esoteric idea that we (humanity) are the magic of life, whether that is a smile from a stranger that uplifts another person or some piece of kindness that has a butterfly effect and affects someone or something else in a positive way.
