Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Stephen Wrabel, aka Wrabel released a new song “happier” on January 27, 2023.
The song is his first music in two years since the 2021 debut album “These Words Are All for You”.
The track was written by Stephen Wrabel and Eric Leva. Produced by Sam De Jong.
The accompanying music video was directed by Lane Smith.
Wrabel shared on social media, “This is really such a special song to me. For those of you that have been with me for a while, you know unrequited love it maybe my favorite thing to write about hah. To be honest sometimes it's a weird thing to not have that to write about anymore. To get.. well.. happier..! To reach a point where you're not waiting for the worst. You're not dreaming of all the ways something can fall apart. But rather, you're dreaming of the wonders of a future. I feel some of you have paralleled that path with me.”- He continued, “This is really such a special song to me. We've cried many tears together! aha. To see y'all falling in love and overcoming addictions and fighting for and finding your own way and your own joy is so inspiring. And so now I invite you into the next chapter. It's not all rainbows and smiles, but I find myself happier. Hopeful. Dare I say a little' grown up '(but only a little…).
