Cristoph & LOWES Premiere New Song “Lucid Love” on BBC Radio 1
Newcastle-based DJ Cristoph teamed up with British alt-pop band LOWES, consisting of Evie Plumb (vocals), Jamie Walker (guitar) and Luke Paget (drums), to premiere a new song “Lucid Love” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Sian Eleri.
This marks the first collaboration between Cristoph and LOWES.
The track was written by Cristoph, Evie Plumb, Jamie Walker, and Luke Paget. Produced by Cristoph.
LOWES' lead vocalist Evie Plumb told Sian Eleri about the song, “We wrote this top line idea a few months ago and it was started this summer. I was going to festivals again, and I actually got lost at a festival. And it sort of inspired this feeling of sort of being out on a festival on your own and making the best of it, meeting new people having a good time. And that was the base of the lyric idea at least. And then we heard Cristoph's production on it and it just blew us away. It sounded fantastic.”
Cristoph added, “When we wrote the song originally it was like we did talk about like, we have to set the scene perfectly, and like when you've got a concept for a song, but we really took our time getting that opening line right.”
