American record producer Pharrell Williams joined forces with American rapper Travis Scott to release a new song “Down In Atlanta” on November 18, 2022.
This marks the third collaboration between Pharrell Williams and Travis Scott.
Pharrell Williams produced Travis Scott's 2015 album “Rodeo” track "Flying High” and 2018 album “Astroworld” track “Skeletons”.
The song was written and produced by by Pharrell Williams and co-written by Travis Scott.
The track samples Michael Jackson's 1987 “The Way You Make Me Feel”.
Pharrell Williams plans to release his upcoming third studio album “Phriends” in 2023.
The album features K-pop group BTS.
Pharrell Williams told Rolling Stone, “Well, my project, it's called...it's [under] my name, and the title of the album is Phriends. It's the volume one. You guys are on there, obviously. And I'm actually talking about this way more than I'm supposed to, but it's a song from my album that [BTS] sang and it's amazing, and I'm super grateful.”- t_Jhj-gBYCs
