Canadian singer-songwriter JP Saxe released a new song “The Good Parts” on November 17, 2022.
The song is the follow-up to “When You Think Of Me”, which was released back in September.
It was written by Ryan Marrone, Maggie Chapman and Malay. Produced by Ryan Marrone and Malay.
JP Saxe said of the song, “This song is about trying to find the healthy recognition that there can be beautiful parts in a relationship that ends. You can heal without having to destroy it, and you can also heal without over-romanticizing it.”
He will perform the song on NBC's Today Show on November 21, 2022.- He shared on social media, “I love it so fucking much. It's about a version of love we don't talk and also really beautiful. As special as a song has ever been to me. What these songs are about usually turn into our conversations together. And i'm excited for us to talk about how things can be beautiful and also end. And how endings dont make that beauty a lie.”
He continued, “Remember that shit I said about how things can be beautiful and also end? And how endings don't make that beauty a lie?
