Colombian singer-songwriter KAROL G was nominated for the 2022 Latin Grammy Awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Urban Song.
The ceremony will tale place at the Michelob Ultra Arena, Las Vegas on November 17, 2022.
Ahead of the Awards, she released a new song “CAIRO” on November 13, 2022.
She joined forces with Colombian music producer Ovy On The Drums on the track.
The song is the follow-up to a collaborative song “GATÚBELA” with Maldy, which was released back in August.
It was written by Carolina Giraldo Navarro, Daniel Echavarría, and Kevyn Mauricio Cruz Moreno. Produced by Ovy On The Drums.
The accompanying music video was directed by WEOWNTHECITY, who filmed it in Cairo.- KAROL G revealed that she had the pyramids closed off for filming.
